View the options below and decide with us what suits you best.

Advice

Do you have a question about being an intercultural church? Do you want to know how to start a pioneering place? Are you looking for good advice on a personal level? ICP has a large network of people who have often hacked with this axe.

There is many years of experience with intercultural community building. We are happy to think along with you about missionary work, discipleship, leadership training and church building. Anyone can knock on our door. Together we look at the best route to progress.

Assessment

“ICP’s assessment is truly invaluable and highly recommended! In a period where the overview is often difficult to find, this assessment provides a personal insight and provides in-depth knowledge that is otherwise difficult to obtain in a clear way.”

Participant ICP assessment

Do you want to determine where your areas for development as a pioneer or pastor lie? Then you have come to the right place at ICP. In recent years, an assessment has been developed that gives you insight into your professional and personal functioning as a pioneer pastor. It can be taken during an appointment procedure or as the start of a personal coaching process.

The assessment consists of four parts: a) the candidate delivers a sermon, b) makes a culture test, c) fills in a questionnaire, which is also completed by three others and d) has a conversation about the results. Finally, a report will follow in which the answers to the questionnaire and test are included, as well as the advice following the analysis and the interview. The report is first shared with the candidate and then also with the party that requested the assessment.

Intervision

Do you want to learn from other pioneers and pastors? Growing together, encouraging each other and being on the road in the colorful Kingdom of God? ICP facilitates various peer groups for workers of intercultural churches. The groups consist of about 6-10 people. They each have their own leader and specific focus.

  • How do you build an intercultural community? (Coen Legemaate)
  • How do you do that, intercultural coexistence as a church? (Rien van der Toorn)
  • How can you deal with the various pastoral problems? (Beppie Wessels)
  • How do you do business as a starting church? (Hans Euser)

The conversation can be started from a theme or case. Each participant makes his own contribution. The intervision coordinator contributes expertise and experience. The intervision is offered alternately online and live. There are 9 meetings per year. These will be combined with the network meetings in October, February and June. In the intervening months you meet each other via zoom.

Coaching

As a leader in the church, do you need a longer trajectory of personal guidance? ICP likes to hang out with you for a while. The coaching we offer consists of an intake interview and a maximum of five meetings. If the evaluation shows that longer supervision is necessary, we will discuss the options.
