ICP wants to equip intercultural churches in the Netherlands to express their cultural diversity in worship before God. Each culture present can express themselves in the community meetings. John describes what that will look like in the future: all kinds of peoples, tribes, languages, and nations together worshipping God. And Jesus himself teaches us to pray: “Your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven” (Matthew 6:10).
What we offer
In order to support churches in developing intercultural worship, ICP offers solid teaching, inspiring examples, practical training, useful tools, and a network of musicians. We cooperate in this with Songs2Serve Netherlands.
- The website songs2serve.nl gives a good overview of non-western songs that have been translated into Dutch and/or English. You will find texts, YouTube links, sheet music, PowerPoint presentations, and more. The website is being developed by Songs2Serve Netherlands.
- The annual training day is meant for everybody who makes intercultural music: singers, musicians, and sound people. There are inspiring lectures, practical ideas and especially, interesting workshops.
- There is a large network of people involved in intercultural worship.
- Together with the team of Songs2Serve we can provide intercultural music during special events.
“My house shall be called a house of prayer for all the nations”
